Welcome, we will keep this introduction as short as possible. I have longed to have a diary for my entire life, my obsession with memoirs, biographies, and diaries, has long increased my guilt and fear of committing to this process. Like you in the past, I have been inspired by the documentation of others, and like you, I have stopped and started diaries in as many forms as media would allow. Social media has fed the beast in some of this impulse but like most of social media, I am left unfulfilled. I can conclude the reason for this is that I do not own those platforms, here on AKAPAD.COM your BOI owns it all.

As you would expect this final push to get an online multimedia journal launched into the mesosphere came into in the shower as I imagined my life held within a backpack and the narration that would accompany it. As I scrapped my body with a Kiel’s oatmeal body bar, I imagined a video for this, an essay to use then for AKAPAD.COMs About Me page, finally I had a way to pitch myself that was as interesting, as it was informative. This bag idea was going to solve a ton of problems for me.

But then we are here creating, starting another project. Not knowing where it will go or how will it land.

So……..perhaps today’s inspiration was ignited by this Tom Ford Interview I played while starting my day.

With all that said let me bullet point some of the editorial notes, I envision for this journey.
